Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh informed that he will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday. It is reported that Amarinder Singh is going to Delhi to meet Amit Shah to find a solution to the farmers' agitation. Amarinder Singh will lead a non-political delegation of agriculture experts in the meeting. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Wednesday also announced the formation of a new political party.
Amarinder Singh said that he is already discussing several issues with Home Minister Amit Shah, regarding which he will meet Shah again in Delhi on Thursday. Captain Amarinder said that there can be no pre-determined formula to resolve the farmers' agitation. Amarinder says that some solutions can be found only during this conversation. Because both the Center and the farmers want a solution to this issue. Captain Amarinder has not yet met any farmer leader to resolve the farmers' agitation, while this is his second meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the matter.
Let us tell you that, farmers' organizations have been protesting against the three central agricultural laws at different borders of the National Capital Region. A large number of farmers are from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. However, the agitating farmers are demanding the withdrawal of all three laws. Captain Amarinder Singh had announced on Wednesday that he would form his new party. He also said that he will also meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah to continue his efforts on the issue of farmers protesting against the three laws.
Captain had also met Shah last month and discussed the issue of farmers' protest. He had said that he is ready for an alliance with the BJP if the farmers' issue is resolved.
