A message related to this is going on on social media. It is being said in this message that China is deliberately sending such firecrackers to India, which causes asthma and worsens eyesight. Along with this, people are being asked to boycott Chinese crackers. However, when PIB investigated this message, it turned out to be fake.

What is written in the viral message: In this message issued in the name of Vishwajit Mukherjee, Senior Investigating Officer of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, it is written, 'According to intelligence information, since Pakistan cannot attack India directly, it has asked China to take revenge on India. China has filled firecrackers, which are toxic to carbon monoxide gas, to spread asthma in India'.

What is the truth?

Press Information Bureau of India has rubbished these claims and said that the message is fake. The fact check handle of the government also said that no such information has been released by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
