The actress further wrote, 'At the time of the rise of the Khalistani movement, her story seems more relevant. Very soon bringing emergency for you. An emergency is Kangana's upcoming film, in which she will play the role of Indira Gandhi.
After this provocative statement of Kangana came to the fore in the name of film promotion, a case has been registered against the actress at Delhi's Parliament Police Station. Indian Youth Congress National Secretary Amrish Ranjan Pandey and Legal Cell Coordinator Ambuj Dixit filed a complaint against the actress on Saturday. A complaint has been filed against the actress under 124 A (sedition), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), and 505 (statement causing public evil).
While on one hand there has been a case against the actress, on the other hand, the President of Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee of Delhi and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has criticized the actress for targeting Sikhs. Sirsa said that Kangana should either be sent to jail or a mental hospital. We demand the government to take strict action on this disgusting statement of her.
