But on Monday, the first death was recorded in Goa due to coronavirus. Here an old woman succumbed to illness due to corona. Let us tell you that till now 625 people have been infected with Corona in Goa and at the same time, the number of active cases here are 129.
Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that an 85-year-old woman has died in Goa today and this is the first death due to coronavirus in Goa. Let us tell you that Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim are the states where there has not been a single death reported so far due to coronavirus.
According to the data released on Monday morning, 445 people have died in the last 24 hours across the country while 14,821 people have been found infected with corona. With this, the number of infected in the country are now 4,25,282, while there are 1,74,387 active cases. So far 2,37,196 people in the country have recovered by beating Corona and at the same time, 13699 people have also died.
