India has been witnessing a gradual decrease in daily coronavirus cases. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India reported 1,32,364 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative count of the cases to 2,85,74,350. With 2713 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 3,40,702.
The country also witnessed 2,07,071 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative recoveries to 2,65,97,655. With this, the country's recovery rate has increased to 93%. On the other hand, India's mortality rate stands at 1.19%.
There has been a steady decline in active cases of coronavirus in the country. According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, the active cases in the country have been reduced by 77,420. Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the country stands at 16,35,993. The active cases rate in India stands at 5.73%.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 20,75,428 samples were tested across the country on Thursday. Meanwhile, a total of 35,74,33,846 samples have been tested so far till June 3.
Meanwhile, mass vaccination against COVID-19 is underway in the country. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, so far 22,41,09,448 people have been vaccinated in the country. Out of this, 28,75,286 vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours.
On Friday, 487 coronavirus cases reported in the state. Meanwhile, 1058 people recovered and 45 died. So far, 14.27 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 13.94 lakh have cured, while 24,447 patients lost their lives. Currently, there are 8,748 patients who are undergoing treatment.

Of these, 9.07 lakh people have been cured, while 8,559 patients have died. At present, 27,408 patients are undergoing treatment.
