India has been witnessing a gradual decrease in daily coronavirus cases. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India reported 84,332 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative count of the cases to 2,93,59,155. With 4,002 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 3,67,081.
The country also witnessed 1,21,311 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative recoveries to 2,79,11,384. With this, the country's recovery rate has increased to 95.07%. On the other hand, India's mortality rate stands at 1.25%.
There has been a steady decline in active cases of coronavirus in the country. According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, the active cases in the country have been reduced by 40,981. Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the country stands at 10,80,690. The active cases rate in India stands at 3.68 %.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 19,20,477 samples were tested across the country on Friday. Meanwhile, a total of 37,62,32,162 samples have been tested so far till June 11.
Meanwhile, mass vaccination against COVID-19 is underway in the country. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, so far 24,96,00,304 people have been vaccinated in the country. Out of this, 34,33,763 vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours.
On Saturday, 238 coronavirus cases reported in the state. Meanwhile, 504 people recovered and 24 died. So far, 14.30 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 14.01 lakh have cured, while 24,772 patients lost their lives. Currently, there are 3,922 patients who are undergoing treatment.
