Uttar Pradesh: Corona cases are increasing continuously in the state. The maximum number of cases of Covid-19 are being registered in Gautam Buddh Nagar, adjacent to Delhi.
In such a situation, in view of the increase in new cases of Covid-19, the administration has extended Section-144 in the Gautam Buddh Nagar till 31 May. Earlier, section 144 was applicable in Noida till 30 April, which has now been extended from 1 May to 31 May.
In the order issued by the administration, it has been stated that 'Due to the increasing cases of Covid-19, Section-144 CrPC applicable in Gautam Buddh Nagar has been extended from May 1 to May 31. Due to this there will be a ban on the gathering of four or more people in a public place.
However, for the last two weeks, cases have been increasing in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Ghaziabad of NCR. In the last 24 hours, 269 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the entire state, including 117 in Gautam Buddh Nagar, 55 in Ghaziabad, 26 in Lucknow and 15 cases in Agra. Where more cases are being found, wearing face masks in public places has been made mandatory.
According to data issued by the Ministry of Health on Monday morning, 3,157 new cases of corona were recorded in the country in the previous 24 hours. 26 patients have died as a result of this.
With the latest numbers, the country's total number of corona-infected patients has risen to 4 crores 30 lakh 82 thousand 345.As a result, the number of current corona cases in the country has risen to 19,500.
