An officer of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) died of corona virus infection on Monday. Giving information about this on Tuesday, officials said that with this, the number of personnel who died of this disease in CISF has increased to 5. This is the 13th death due to corona virus infection among Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel. It should be noted that a large number of corona fighters have come in the grip of this deadly epidemic.
Giving information about this, a senior officer said that the deceased head constable Chaudhary Narasimha Bhai was posted in the first reserve battalion of the force located at Barwaha in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. "The head constable died of corona virus on Monday," the official said. He was hospitalized due to a blood related illness and underwent a major surgery, whereas this is the fifth death due to this deadly epidemic in the CISF.
Let us tell you that 4 people have died in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 2 in the Border Security Force and one each in the Sashastra Seema Bal and Indo-Tibetan Border Police due to infection of the corona virus. According to the data received, a total of 1,670 personnel of 5 CAPF forces, National Security Guard and National Disaster Response Forces have been found infected as of 6 June. Out of the total cases of infected, 1,157 patients have been cured till June 6 and more than 510 workers are admitted in various hospitals.
