According to Dr. Sharma, when antibiotics were not available, radiation therapy was only used in the treatment of pneumonia until the 1940s. He informed that under the pilot project 8 corona patients will be treated with radiation therapy and after this, the results will be analyzed. If radiation therapy is found effective in the treatment of coronavirus, then further work will be done on it. Dr. Sharma told that such research has also been done in America, Spain and Italy.
