Coronavirus in India: 10,215 People Recovered in Last 24 Hours, Country’s Recovery Rate Surpasses Global rate

Globally the death rate has been around 5.5 percent whereas in India this rate is 2.88 percent

Amid the rapid increase in the cases of coronavirus, some relief news is also coming to light in the country. Now the number of people recovering from coronavirus in the country has started to increase rapidly and within the last 24 hours, 10,215 people have been cured in the country, while, the recovery rate of coronavirus in the country has risen to 52.46 percent and in this case India's rate has surpassed the world rate. The recovery rate of coronavirus globally is currently below 52 percent. Now the number of people recovered from the coronavirus in the country has increased to 1, 80,012.

1,53,178 TOTAL ACTIVE CASES IN THE COUNTRY

10,667 new coronavirus cases have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours and the total coronavirus cases has now increased to 3, 43,091. At present, the total active cases of coronavirus in the country have increased to 153178, whereas the number of active cases has increased by 72 within the last 24 hours.

9,900 DIED SO FAR

Within the last 24 hours, due to coronavirus, 380 people have died in the country and the total death toll has increased to 9,900. Although the coronavirus death rate in India is much lower than the global rate. Globally the death rate has been around 5.5 percent whereas in India this rate is 2.88 percent.
