International yoga Day: PM Modi said that Pranayama makes the Respiratory System Stronger

Addressing the nation on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the world is realizing the need for yoga and today Pranayama is strong during the Coronavirus epidemic.  Helps in the construction of the respiratory system.

PM said that Pranayama is a Breathing Exercise

 PM said that Pranayama is a breathing exercise that is usually practiced after yoga asanas.  This is the first time that International Yoga Day programs are being organized on digital platforms. The PM said that while we are talking about the solution of problems and the welfare of the world through Yoga, I also want to remind you again of Yogeshwar Krishna's Karma Yoga.  In the Gita, Lord Krishna, while explaining yoga, has said- 'Yoga: Karmasu Kaushalam' meaning, the skill of Karma is Yoga.

In his address PM Modi said, 'Today the world is feeling the need of yoga even more due to the coronavirus epidemic.  If our immunity is strong then it helps in fighting the disease.  Doing yoga increases our immunity and improves metabolism.

The PM said, 'COVID-19 especially attacks our respiratory system.  Pranayama,  breathing exercises, helps to strengthen our system the most.  During this, PM Modi while wishing the people of the sixth International Yoga Day said that this day of International Yoga Day is solidarity.  The day is the message of universal brotherhood.
