Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K.K. 44,661 CONFIRMED INFECTED IN THE STATE
The Health Department reported that 1,974 cases of infected with the coronavirus have been reported during this period. In the daily bulletin issued by the Health Department, it was informed that 44,661 people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus in the state, including 1,974 new cases.
24,547 PEOPLE CURED IN THE STATE
According to the bulletin, 1,138 people were discharged from the hospital on Sunday after becoming infection-free. So far, 24,547 people have been cured in the state and the department said that 19,676 patients are undergoing treatment. According to the bulletin, 1,415 infected patients are from Chennai in new cases reported on Sunday. After Chennai, the maximum numbers of cases have come in the neighboring district of Chengalpet, 178 new cases have been reported here.
