Cricket Australia (CA) has announced the schedule for the full season of Big Bash League (BBL) on Wednesday. This time the league is to begin in December, but the board admitted that the schedule could be affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. If this league starts at its scheduled time then it will clash with India-Australia Test series.

BBL season 10 will begin from December 3:

The tenth season of BBL is scheduled to begin on December 3. The Adelaide Strikers will face the Melbourne Renegade team in the first match. A total of 60 matches will be held in the Big Bash League 2020-21, including knockout matches. These league matches will be played in different stadiums of the country, while the final match will be played on 6 February. Along with this, the schedule of the Women's Big Bash League has also been released.

Women's Big Bash League to be held from October 17:

The Women's Big Bash League will be held from October 17 to November 29. Cricket Australia will fulfill its commitments to broadcasters and will not face penalties for lesser content. However, the schedule can still pose problems, as interstate travel to Australia is prohibited due to the coronavirus outbreaks in Melbourne and Sydney.

We will follow public health advice: BBL head

BBL Head, Alastair Dobson said the league would follow public health advice and create health protocols to ensure the safety of the public, players and support staff. Dobson has stated, "There are factors outside the league itself that may affect (the schedule) at a later date."

4-match test series between India and Australia will start from December 3:

Let us tell you that from December 3, the four-match Test series between India and Australia is to begin. After the 4-matches test series, the three-match ODI series is also to be held between the two countries. In this way, this tour of the Indian team will be held till 17 January. Meanwhile, the Big Bash League is being organized in the country, due to which it will clash. However, considering the Women's Big Bash League, it is believed that the T20 World Cup, to be held in Australia in October-November, may get postponed.
