The Yogi government of the state is taking continuous action against the mafia and criminals, but there is no reduction in the cases of crime. The latest case is of fraud of more than Rs 72 crore from Prashant Singh, director of Piscia Power Transmission Company. With the help of Kulvind Singh, a close aide of underworld don Chhota Shakeel, the fraudster couple carried out this fraud.

What was the matter?

According to director Prashant Singh, Vandana Yadav, a resident of Jopling Road, Shalimar Emerald, was associated as a director at the time of the formation of the company. She was accompanied by her husband Vivek Yadav and CA Tushar Nagar. After this, Vinod Singh, Kulwinder Singh and Manoj Kumar Singh were made shareholders without the permission of the company director.

Vandana started manipulating the company after some time. Prashant says that the company got the work of laying 132 kV underground cable in Prayagraj from Rajkiya Nirman Nigam. After this, Vandana released Rs 5 crore as a loan to the SBY firm which she and her husband operated.

When was it revealed?

According to Prashant, Mumbai resident Kulwinder Singh was given six crores by the accused to buy a bungalow in Juhu. The matter came to light when in October 2020, the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Kulwinder for fraud. Prashant came to know about the relationship between underworld don and Kulwinder. According to the victim, the accused had also prepared fake bills and payment orders from several firms. The victim told that he has been cheated of more than Rs 72 crores. At present, a complaint has been lodged in the Gomtigar police station in the matter, on the basis of which the police has started searching for the accused.
