The death toll from Covid-19 rose to 417 on Monday with 18 more deaths in Uttar Pradesh, while infected cases in the state rose to 14,919. Principal Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said that there are 5064 under-infection cases in the state while 8610 people have been fully treated and have been discharged from hospitals, whereas the rate of recovery in the state is 61.10 percent.

5081 PEOPLE ARE BEING TREATED IN HOSPITALS

He said 18 more people lost their lives due to coronavirus infection in the state and so far 417 people have died, whereas coronavirus cases have increased to 14,091 in the state. Prasad said that 5081 people have been kept in confinements, who are being treated in various hospitals and medical colleges. 7436 people have been kept in segregation and their samples are being tested. If someone is found infected after investigation, then he will be admitted and treated in L-1, L-2 or L-3 hospitals according to his condition, otherwise, those living in isolation will be sent home on completion of the stipulated time.

ARGOGYA SETU IS USED EFFICIENTLY

He said that ASHA workers have so far surveyed 16, 46,312 migrant workers from village to village, and of these, in 1455, there were some symptoms of coronavirus infection, who have been tested.
