On Saturday the army was attacked in Manipur. Therefore, two militant outfits have claimed responsibility after Ten hours of the Attack. However, the militants are the People's Liberation Army (PLA) and Manipur Naga People's Front.

About People's Liberation Army

On September 25, 1978, this organization was established under the leadership of A.N Bisheshwar Singh. The Ultimate Goal of this organization was uniting Naga and Kuki groups to separate Manipur from India. Also, the wires of the PLA are connecting with the neighboring country China.

Camps in Myanmar and Bangladesh

There are two camps in Myanmar and five in Bangladesh. Of these, about 1,000 recruits have received training in state-of-the-art weapons. Security forces raided a PLA camp in Thoubal's Ketcham. Therefore, it killed almost all the top leaders. Bisheshwar was also arrested on July 6, 1981. On April 8, 1989, PLA militants attacked Vandana Malik, an IPS officer, near Imphal.

Funding for the Organization

According to the document of January 1991, it has an alliance with the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. In order to make these terrorists flourish in India, funding is also being done from China. The Government of India has been declared a terrorist organization.

Manipur Naga People's Front

A few days ago in Manipur, two underground organizations joined together to form Manipur Naga People's Front (MNPF). These organizations are Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (NRF) and United Naga People's Council (UNCP). The purpose of this organization is also to make Manipur a separate state.

IED attack on Assam Rifles convoy

There was a militant attack on an army convoy in Manipur on Saturday. 5 jawans including the commanding officer of Assam Rifles were also killed in this attack. The wife of Colonel Biplab Tripathi, commanding officer of 46 Assam Rifles, also died in this attack. However, the incident took place at Singhat in Churachandpur district.
