M777 howitzer guns have been deployed to strengthen the position on the Indian border with China.

Tension between the two countries going on since last year

The border dispute between India and China has been going on since last year. To resolve the dispute, several rounds of talks have been held between the two countries so far, but the dispute is not fully resolved.

Delegation of US lawmakers is on a visit to Taiwan

On the other hand, bypassing China's threat, another delegation of US lawmakers is on a visit to Taiwan. It is being told that an eight-member delegation of lawmakers will meet Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen to discuss various issues.

The US delegation is led by Democratic lawmaker from Florida, Stephanie Murphy. Murphy is one of the lawmakers who introduced a bill allowing the sale of arms in support of Taiwan. It is a similar bill which was passed for Ukraine.
