Mumbai's NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has accused two policemen of stalking. He has complained about this to the DGP of Maharashtra. However, he appeared to refrain from commenting on this. It is being told that the Oshiwara police went to the cemetery (crematorium) and took CCTV footage of Sameer Wankhede. Sameer Wankhede's mother passed away in 2015 and since then he has been attending the cemetery every day.

2008 batch IRS officer

Samir Wankhede, who hails from Maharashtra, is a 2008 batch IRS officer. After joining the Indian Revenue Service, his first posting was as Deputy Customs Commissioner at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai. Because of his ability, he was later sent to Andhra Pradesh and then to Delhi. At the same time, he is also considered an expert in drug and drug-related matters.

In the last two years, under the leadership of Sameer Wankhede, a drug racket worth about Rs 17,000 crore was exposed. Last year itself he was transferred from DRI to Narcotics Control Bureau.
