The report is of 30th December at around 2 am of the place Jaipur's Shaheed Smarak. Here the atmosphere in the open sky is made of heart-wrenching winter but in this environment REET candidates are half-naked. When the team of Since Independence reached here in the middle of the night, the pictures of the protesters were telling their spirits appealing to the government. Their demand is to increse 31 thousand posts of REET to 50 thousand.

In the midst of this, when we were narrating the agony of these REET candidates through live at midnight. That's when these youths who were protesting in a semi-naked state got excited. But as we know winter is winter, it's the weather. A glimpse of shivering was clearly visible in these candidates. When we reached close to them, a candidate shivered and said, 76 days have passed today at the Shaheed Smarak. Till now no MLA or minister of the government has taken care of us. No one else has come from the opposition side to console us. Our protest will continue till unless the posts of REET are increased from 31 thousand to 50 thousand. When we went ahead, another candidate first appreciated the initiative of Since Independence Media and said that you have come here at midnight to take our words to the government. I would like to tell the government that the representatives or ministers of the government should wait for five minutes in this severe cold and watch. They will know under what circumstances we are here. We believe that there is no election yet. That's why the government is not taking care of us. But right now the government is flying in flight. They should know that the flight flies from the ground itself and on that ground only we will meet. The government is sleeping and we will say that you wake up. We are the children of the farmers.

One of the REET candidate said, we are testing the insensitivity of the government and the government is testing our patience. But we want to tell the government that we had come from that area from where most of the youth of the country have been recruited in the army. We are about to become teachers. And the government is taking the test of being our teacher.

When we proceeded, the candidate standing in half-naked condition said that we and our brothers who are fighting here should be look by the government. Among us, our partner Rohitash is admitted in the hospital. His condition is getting worse day by day.
Our team stayed with them till morning. So it came to know that the candidates who have been staging a sit-in here for the last 76 days, how their nights must have passed here. Because it was too heavy for us to spend even a night here in the cold.
Mahendra, a supporter of youth at the Shaheed Smarak, said that the first ray of sun is of hope and we want to say that the first ray is of education, development for which we are standing here. We are youth of Rajasthan and we have only two option “Repeat and one Delete”. Rahul Gandhi wants to become the Prime Minister, why should we let him be. They talk big things in BJP ruled states. But where his party has a government, they don't care there. The Chief Minister of his party is turning his back on the youth of Rajasthan. Even when Rahul Gandhi came here for rally on inflation, the youth of Rajasthan were ignored. This Congress government should decide whether it wants to be repeated in the state or wants to be deleted for five years. It is a matter of great shame that there are 200 Congress MLAs, not a single one came to console us, while BJP has 71 MLAs, no one took care.
