A day before the scheduled time for the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal, that means the election campaign will stop there today. Even after 10 o'clock in the seventh and final phase of polling for 9 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal, the political party will not be able to campaign for the election.

The Election Commission took this decision on Tuesday after a dispute arising out of the agitation during the road show of BJP President Amit Shah in Kolkata. The Election Commission has asked the West Bengal to abolish election campaign one day in advance. Let us say that for the last phase of Lok Sabha elections to be held on May 19, the campaign was to end on Friday at five in the morning, but now it will be stopped at 10 o'clock today ie today.

The incident of the breaking of the statue of Ishchchand Vidyasagar between Amit Shah's roadshow was also unfortunate. The Commission has also removed the ADG (CID) and the Principal Secretary (Home) of the state, responding to the incident.
