Voting is being held today for the Ellenabad by-election 2021 in Haryana. Till 9.30 am, 13.17 percent voting has been done. A mock poll was conducted at 6 am and after that, the process of voting started. The mock poll was conducted in the presence of agents of all the candidates and parties. After the mock poll, the signatures of the agents were done, and then the process of voting from 7 pm. Congress candidate Pawan Beniwal casts his vote at village Darba Kala polling station.

The entire staff at the Sakhi booth will be women workers

One lakh 86 thousand 416 voters will cast their votes in the Ellenabad assembly by-election. These include 99 thousand 442 male voters, 86 thousand 973 female voters, So including 304 service voters and one gender voter. Booth number 116 Sakhi booth of Ellenabad city and booth number 90 model booth of village Mehnakheda have been made. But the entire staff at the Sakhi booth will be women workers.

Contingents of police and paramilitary forces are deployed

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Anish Yadav said that 211 booths have been set up for the Ellenabad by-election. 121 booths are sensitive. Tight security arrangements have been made at all the booths for peaceful polling. Contingents of police and paramilitary forces are deployed. So voters are appealed to reach out in maximum numbers and cast their votes.

The case did under the Excise Act at Chowk police station

In village Shakkar Mandori in the Nathusari Chaupata area, the police recovered 28 liquor boxes in the Dhani of a youth named Sarwan Kumar. But the police have got the status of a case done under the Excise Act at Chowk police station. Police are yet to confirm whether the liquor had come to be distributed in the election or not and to which party it belongs.
