Alia Bhatt's Bollywood film 'Sadak 2' will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar. It was officially announced. Apart from Alia, the film will have Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in pivotal roles. Mahesh Bhatt is returning after 21 years as a director.
Alia Bhatt announced the OTT release of the film during a special live event. In which Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Bachchan participated. The actors talked about how they are spending their time in lockdown. Varun, who hosted the virtual press conference, said he learned yoga whereas Alia meditated and learned guitar.
Alia then shared the poster of the film 'Sadak 2', saying, "The film is a homecoming in the true sense." This is the story of Sadak ahead of the first film."Alia also revealed that Kailash Parvat is in an important role in the film.
Alia reiterated her father Mahesh Bhatt's stating that no character appears in the new poster of 'Sadak 2'. Alia said- "Kailash Parvat – This mountain has footprints of gods and sages." It is the abode of Lord Shiva, the deity of all gods. Do we really need anything else or actors in that holy place. Entire humanity found shelter in this Kailash Parvat. This is the place where all search ends. 'Sadak 2' is the road to love."
