Since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the debate of nepotism and insider versus outsider has been taking place in the Bollywood industry at a rapid pace. Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor's brother and actor Ishaan Khatter, who made his Bollywood debut with the movie Dhadak, has said that he is not irritated by the identity he gets from his brother's name.
Speaking to news agency IANS, Ishaan said, 'I am not irritated by the fact that I am often identified as his brother. I came into the public eye at the young age of 15 and have been associated with him ever since. That image has been around longer than the independent actor that I am now. Ishaan said that his bonding with Shahid Kapoor is very good.'
Regarding bonding with Shahid, Ishaan said, 'Initially, I would always discuss with him the choices of my films and characters, this gave me a perspective and learning. The reason behind this is that both of us have been concerned about a topic. I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to grow with him. Got an opportunity to sit with him and learn from his experience'.
Ishaan further added, 'I have learned a lot from him. He has many such qualities that I see and admire. He has created a value system, which makes him such a person today. He is very foxed.'
Talking about the work front, a film and a mini series of Ishaan are going to come. The mini-series 'A Suitable Boy' is soon to be streamed on Netflix. In this film, he will be seen doing romance with Tabu somewhere in his age. Apart from this, he will also be seen in the film phone booth with Katrina Kaif.
