A case of rape has been registered against T-Series Managing Director Bhushan Kumar at DN Nagar Police Station in Mumbai. A 30-year-old woman has accused Kumar of rape. The woman says that Bhushan raped her by taking her to different places by luring her to work on his project. According to the woman, these incidents took place from 2017 to 2020.
In this case, the police have registered a case against Bhushan Kumar under sections 376 (rape), 420 (cheating), and 506 (threatening) of the IPC. It is being told that Bhushan Kumar is out of Mumbai right now, so his interrogation will not be possible at the moment.
The woman has also alleged that Bhushan Kumar had threatened to make her pictures and videos viral. However, no clarification has come from T-Series on these allegations so far. It is believed that Bhushan Kumar is currently in Delhi and on his return to Mumbai, the police will question him.
In 2018, during the MeToo movement, Bhushan Kumar was accused of sexual harassment by a woman. Bhushan, while giving his side on the matter, had denied the allegations. His wife Divya also came in support of this matter. Divya had said – T-Series is at the place it is today because of my husband's hard work. People even stood up against Lord Krishna. The purpose of MeToo is to remove the filth of society. But some people are taking the wrong advantage of it.
Bhushan is not only the Managing Director of the T-series, but he has also been handling the production of many big films. In the year 2001, Bhushan Kumar produced the film Tum Bin. Since then he has given many super hit films to the industry. Bhushan Kumar has produced many films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Aashiqui 2, Sanam Re, All Is Well, Sarabjit, Badshaho, Tumhari Sulu, Bharat, and Satyamev Jayate.
