Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, who worked together in 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', are back together in Aanand L Rai's 'Raksha Bandhan' Today, on the occasion of her birthday, Bhumi has shared her special feelings. Bhumi has got a day off from the shoot on Sunday to celebrate her birthday. Bhumi, who is celebrating her birthday today, said, "Earlier we have done a film which was successful, liked by the people and also had an important message for the society. There is feel-good value and people know that if we are working together, it will have both message and entertainment."
Bhumi further added, "I am a true-hearted fan of Akshay sir. He has carved his own path and has reached such heights. I really admire many aspects of his journey like he dreamed big and achieved it. My story has been like this too. I believe that success story is the one that works for people and inspires them."
Bhumi had requested a day off from the shooting of the film 'Raksha Bandhan', Akshay and Aanand L Rai gave her a day off. She will spend time with her mother Sumitra and sister Samiksha and celebrate birthdays with only those close to her.
Bhumi, who runs the social advocacy platform 'Climate Warrior', says, "About our earth, we have to understand that everything is limited and if we do not stop, our story will be completely finished. My wish about career That's how I keep up the good work. I don't want to disappoint the loyal fans I've built over the years."
Bhumi further adds, "I think I have become an actor at a time when content has outpaced all other aspects of cinema. Also, having a simple girl-like image around us has been beneficial to me as people think. It's their own story. People have seen me in roles that they can think of as their middle. When they saw me on screen they said they knew this girl, be it their daughter or niece or niece can."
