Aditya Chopra, the owner of Yash Raj Films, was scheduled to go on grand celebrations this year on the completion of 50 years of Yash Raj Films. However, in the midst of the outcry in the country due to the second wave of Corona, he has decided that the entire budget for the celebrations will be given to help the daily wage laborers.

Not only this, thousands of frontline workers of Mumbai's Goregaon will be provided with cooked food on their behalf. Along with this, food will also be delivered from the kitchen of Yash Raj Studio to the isolation centers in Andheri.

Aditya has started an initiative called 'Saathi' last week to provide financial assistance to the workers of the industry, under which funds of Rs 5000 will be directly transferred to the accounts of women and senior citizens of the Yash Raj Foundation industry.
