After his success in handling some high-profile cases, he has become a well-known lawyer for many celebrities. From the Aryan Khan case to the Rhea Chakraborty drug case and Salman Khan drunken driving case, here are some Bollywood stars whom they have defended all in court. According to media reports, Satish is the most expensive lawyer. He charges Rs 15-20 lakh a day. Satish started his career with the country's famous late lawyer Ram Jethmalani in the year 1983.
After the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in a cruise drug raid on October 2, the superstar hired Satish Maneshinde to advocate for his son. The lawyer argued that his client Aryan Khan was invited to Cruise's event as a guest and no banned substance has been recovered from him. NCB has been extended the custody of Aryan and other accused in the drugs case till October 7. On Monday, it was reported that the star kids have confessed to taking drugs for the past four years.
In 2002, Satish Maneshinde came into the limelight for Salman Khan's drunken driving case. The lawyer defending the 'Dabangg' star in the case successfully secured bail for him. He was later acquitted by the court. Not only this, but the lawyer also defended Salman in the infamous blackbuck poaching case of 1998.
Manshinde had made his way into the news last year as well when he filed a case against actress Rhea Chakraborty for criminal conspiracy and alleged misappropriation of money following the actor's tragic demise by the father of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Then Manshinde had sided with the actress and her brother Shovik Chakraborty in this case in court. Later, both were successful in getting bail.
In 1993, Maneshinde represented Sanjay Dutt in the Bombay bombings case. He has also reportedly been part of the lawyers for the legal team that defended him in the Arms Act case of 2007. He was able to secure bail for Dutt at that time, even though the actor faced serious charges.
