The first poster of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan's Marathi debut, AB Aani CD is out and he looks much like the genius that he is on the new picture shared by the producers. Veteran on-screen character theater character Vikram Gokhale's forthcoming Marathi film has the 76-year-old on-screen character playing himself.
The film's poster highlights Vikram in the equivalent get-up as found in Amitabhji's well-known song 'Saara Zamana' from the film Yaraana. The film focuses on the obligation of friendship among Amitabh and Vikram.
Discussing the film, maker Akshay had prior stated, "They both start their journey together. Bachchan sir and Ghokale sir are school friends and they meet almost after 70 years for a birthday party. AB stands for Amitabh Bachchan and CD for Gokhale's character, who is called Chandrakant Deshpande."
Milind Lele has composed and coordinated the film. "Bachchan sir is playing himself in the film. He will be viewed as a megastar and the job is around 15-minutes-in length," maker Akshay Bardapurkar had before said.
The producers of the film displayed the first poster to the Lalbaugcha Raja. Maker Akshay Bardapurkar, director Milind Lele, Golden Ratio's Kunal Verma, and actor Sayali Sanjeev were available at the poster launch.
AB Ani CD is created by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar and Planet Marathi and presented by Golden Ratio Films, KVR Productions, and Krishna Persaud. It likewise stars Subodh Bhave, Sayali Sanjeev, and Akshay Tanksale.
The upcoming family parody will release in December this year. Bachchan and Gokhale, 78, have recently included together in religion movies like Agneepath and Khuda Gawah.
