Sanak, a song by popular rapper Badshah, was released around a month ago and quickly became viral. His followers adored his song, which is currently trending on YouTube.

Meanwhile, it has become engaged in controversy just a month after its debut.

A senior priest of the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh has objected to Badshah using the name of Lord Shiva (Bholenath) in his song. An FIR might also be filed against him in this regard.

What a senior priest of Mahakaleshwar temple said?

In rapper Badshah's song 'Sanak,' Mahesh, a priest of Ujjain Mahakal temple, stated, "A song was recently released in which indecent words were used.

The vocalist also used curse words in the song before declaring himself a devotee of Lord Shiv. This is unacceptable, and we condemn it. We also encourage all Sanatan Dharma organisations to condemn all such songs and scenes. Such stuff should be prohibited. The administration and government should act."

Mahesh, the priest, has requested that the name of God be removed from the song and that he apologise. He further stated that he will request that a FIR be filed against rapper Badshah.

"We have always tried that whenever someone has attempted to defile Sanatan Dharma or mocked our deities, we have given applications to the police station and demanded that an FIR be registered," he continued. In this case, too, we would request that a FIR be filed against the singer."

Sanak Song is trending

Notably, the rapper's most recent single, which is 2 minutes and 15 seconds long, is currently trending on Youtube. After 40 seconds, the singer could be heard saying the vulgar phrase.

The song has 18 million views on YouTube (as of the report's filing), and many people, including celebrities, have created Instagram reels based on it. The song was well-liked, but suddenly Lord Shiva believers were upset with it.
