The Enforcement Directorate has taken major action against actress Jacqueline Fernandez and seized assets worth Rs 7 crore 27 lakh. It is being told that this amount was gifted by thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar to Jacqueline. According to the information, Jacqueline has an FD of such an amount, which has been confiscated by the ED.
The ED team has also questioned the actress thrice. He has been questioned about his relationship with Sukesh Chandrashekhar, a thug lodged in Tihar Jail. The ED has also issued a lookout notice against him. He was stopped at the Mumbai airport on 5 December 2021 while trying to leave the country.
According to ED sources, there was a close relationship between the actress and the thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar and he used to spend money on the actress like water. Chandrashekhar also gifted gold and diamond jewelry and imported crockery to the actress.
Apart from these, a horse worth Rs 52 lakh and four Persian cats worth Rs 9-9 lakh were also presented. Sukesh had booked several chartered flights for Jacqueline. According to the ED, Chandrashekhar had spent about Rs 10 crore on the actress.
Sukesh has also claimed that he was in a relationship with Jacqueline. Some pictures of both confirm this claim. The actress and Chandrashekhar seem to be very close. According to the ED, these pictures are being told of a five-star hotel. Although Jacqueline had denied any such relationship in front of the investigating agencies.
The investigation also revealed that Sukesh had spoken to the actress several times over the phone during his stay in Tihar Jail. After getting concrete evidence of this fact, a team of ED has also visited Tihar Jail.
Jacqueline is the owner of property worth crores. According to media reports, Jacqueline has assets of about $ 10 million (Rs 74 crore). Jacqueline charges around 3 to 4 crores for a film. According to a report, Jacqueline's year-long earnings in 2019 stood at Rs 9.5 crore.
