An FIR has been lodged in Pune against Ex-Contestant of Bigg Boss and former Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi, who is often in discussions for her controversial statements. It is alleged that by sharing a video on social media, she has made objectionable remarks about the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the country's first PM Jawaharlal Nehru and the Congress family.
Pune Police has registered a case against Payal Rohatgi under Section 153 (A), Section 500, Section 505 (2) and 34 of IPC. Rohatgi is alleged to have shared a video on social media in which he allegedly used derogatory words against Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
Pune District Congress General Secretary Sangeeta Tiwari has lodged a complaint against actress Payal Rohatgi at Shivajinagar police station. The police have also registered a complaint against Payal Rohatgi as well as another unidentified accused for making the video.
In the complaint given to the police, it has been said that Payal Rohatgi made derogatory videos against Mahatma Gandhi, former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and their family and circulated it on social media.
Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi, who is often in controversies, was arrested by the Ahmedabad Police in June. Payal was accused of using obscene words on social media after a dispute with the chairman of the society. However, the post was later deleted. Payal was also accused of threatening to kill the chairman of the society and quarrelling with the people there over petty issues. Payal was also detained by the Rajasthan Police two years ago on the complaint of a Congress worker. During that time he had used objectionable words for Motilal Nehru.
