Singing reality shows Indian Idol 11, which lasted more than three months, has got the winner. Sunny Hindustani, who hails from Punjab, has given this title to his name. The young player won the Indian Idol 11 trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. He also got the opportunity to sing in the next T-Series project.
Apart from Sunny, the show also had four more finalists – Ankona Mukherjee, Adriz Ghosh, Ridham Kalyan, and Rohit Raut, who made their claim in the finals. Sunny, who mesmerized everyone with his soulful singing. He sang songs like 'Bhar Do Jholi Meri' and 'Mada Mata Surur' and garnered praise from Ayushmann Khurrana and Neena Gupta. Ankona Mukherjee emerged as the second runner-up and received a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. Ridham and Adriz finished fourth and fifth and got Rs 3 lakh.
Sunny has been one of the most talked-about contestants ever since he appeared in the audition. His voice closely resembles that of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and the moment he arrives for the audition, he surprises three judges Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, and Anu Malik.
In one episode, actor Kunal Kemmu was so impressed with Sunny's singing that he presented her the locket of Lord Lakshmi. Not only Kunal, even Ajay Devgan, and wife Kajol were impressed by Sunny's singing and both praised her.
