Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar has been put on a ventilator again after her health deteriorated. Earlier, some dignitaries who visited the hospital on Saturday to inquire about Lata's health included Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Supriya Sule.
On Saturday, Lata Mangeshkar's sister and singer Asha Bhosle reached the hospital to inquire about the veteran singer's health. Asha Bhosle, while returning from the hospital, told the media that I hope that she will be fine and I am praying. The doctors have informed that her condition is stable and her condition has improved.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that the whole country is praying that she gets well soon so that we can take him back home from the hospital. He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also sent a message to the family for the good health of Lata didi. Goyal told that the doctors will give a bulletin about Lata's health and it will not be right for her to say anything.
A team of doctor treating legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar informed that Mangeshkar has been put on a ventilator again after his health deteriorated and he is constantly under the supervision of doctors. Lata (92) was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Breach Candy Hospital on January 8 after being found infected with the coronavirus, where she is undergoing treatment under the supervision of Dr Pratit Samdani and a team of doctors. Samdani told the media outside the hospital that Lata Mangeshkar didi is in the ICU of Breach Candy Hospital. She is being treated under the constant supervision of doctors and she is normally going through difficult procedures.
Lata, one of the finest singers of Indian cinema, started her career in 1942 at the age of 13. In a career spanning over seven decades, she has sung over 30,000 songs in various Indian languages. She has been honoured with many awards including Bharat Ratna, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke Award and several National Film Awards.
