Priyanka Chopra Said- ‘Saroj Khan was an Institution for me’

On the death of Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan, many Bollywood celebrities paid tribute to her. From Madhuri Dixit, Amitabh Bachchan to Anupam Kher, many celebs have shared their memories of their past days with Saroj Khan. Actress Priyanka Chopra has also tweeted and expressed her feelings towards Saroj Khan.

Priyanka Chopra wrote-

'When she choreographed me in Agneepath, many of my teenage dreams came true. Task master, perfectionist, innovator, trendsetter, genius … Saroj ji was a lot for many people. For me, she will always be an institution that defines Dancing Era with a lot of emotion and passion. Gun Gun Gun Guna Re …Mat heaven dance to your tune Master Ji'. Priyanka's dance in Agneepath's song 'Gun Gun Gun Guna Re' is truly praiseworthy and it was all because of the veteran choreographers Saroj Khan.

Let us tell you that Saroj Khan died of cardiac arrest in a hospital in Mumbai on Friday. She was 71 years old. Her health was bad for the last few days. She was also admitted to the hospital. However, according to reports, there was news of improvement in her health. Amitabh and Anupam shared stories with Saroj Khan.

Saroj ji .. you gave us and the industry , rhythm, style, grace of movement and the art of converting the lyrics in a song to a meaning in dance .. .. on a chance meeting many many years ago she paid me my best compliment .. she was living in Dubai then from marriage and when DON was released she said " I saw the film and then after, I would go to the theatre where it was released, at the time when your song 'khaike paan.. was on , see it and come out .. I used to do it regularly every day .. I would tell the usher to let me in just to see the song and leave .. that is how much I enjoyed your dance moves .." !! coming from her was the ultimate .. .. a legacy has passed away .. ?

Many celebrities have shared their work experience with her. Amitabh Bachchan wrote in a post that when Saroj Khan was happy with her pupil, she used to give them a coin of one rupee. She used to give this coin as an omen. At the same time, Anupam Kher also paid tribute to her by referring to the story with Saroj Khan.
