Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji has recently made a disclosure. Ayan told in an interview that Ranbir Kapoor has not charged fees for this film. Also, the director said that Alia had also taken very little money for this film. Some people are considering this film a hit, while some people do not agree with this, because the budget of the film was very high. That's why Ayan has now clarified this matter.
Talking to trade analyst Komal Nahata, Ayaan clarified the budget of the film. He said, "The truth is that this film has been made because of a lot of personal sacrifices. Indeed, Ranbir has not taken anything for Brahmastra according to the amount of money he earns as a star actor. This is a big deal because without his support this film would not have been possible."
Talking about Alia as well, Ayan said, "She had joined the film in 2014, at that time only a few of her films were released. At that time she was not such a big star as she is today. In this film, A very small amount was fixed for Alia. By the time the film was completed, Alia said that her fees money has also gone towards making the film."
Ranbir Kapoor said about his fee, "The question you asked whether I did or didn't charge anything, actually I have done it. This film is my equity for life, I am also a producer for the film. My point of view and Soch is for a long time. I didn't take money for Part 1, but what I believe this film will earn in all three parts is beyond fees as an actor and anything else."
There is speculation that the film was not made on a budget of 400 crores but a budget of 650 crores. However, earlier Ranbir had told me that the budget of 650 crores has been fixed for all three parts of Brahmastra.
In a conversation with us, Ranbir said, "These days we are reading a lot in which people are talking about the budget of our film. People say that the film has so much budget and so much recovery. But The budget of Brahmastra is not for one part but the entire trilogy."
