The film 'Thappad' has shown a serious issue like domestic violence, on the basis of which the focus is on divorce and many similar incidents. Simply put, it may be just a slap, but it is domestic violence. Kabir Singh was also being compared to the subject of this film. Taapsee's reaction was also revealed on this.
Taapsee said, "It is not at all that we have made this film with 'Kabir Singh' in mind. I feel very sad when I hear people saying that 'We have made this film to answer another film'. The story of the film was written before the release of 'Kabir Singh'. I think the Thappad is just a trigger, but in the film, we have shown many things about the relationship. "
