It is being claimed that this video is from the state of Kerala where Hindus are not even allowed to celebrate Ganeshotsav. While sharing this video, many users wrote, this situation has happened during Ganeshotsav in Kerala. Hindus cannot even celebrate festivals in their own country.
To know the truth behind the viral video, we searched the keywords related to it on different sites. Also in the search result, we found this video with news on a YouTube channel named Hindu Today. The title of the video was 'Police officer removed the idol of Lord Ganesha in Rakshapuram area of Hyderabad'. However, in this video, the news has been told in Telugu along with the clip of the viral video.
Also, we contacted Santosh Nagar police station in the Rakshapuram area of Hyderabad in the next phase of the investigation. An official said that this case of Rakshapuram Colony belonged to Sep 10. There was a dispute between two groups regarding the establishment of the idol of Lord Ganesh on the vacant land of the colony. As soon as we got information about this, we went there and arrested some people in this case, who were later released.
The vacant land of the Rakshapuram colony is in dispute, so Lord Ganesha idol was stopped from being installed there. There is no communal angle in this whole matter. It is clear that the claim being made with the viral video on social media is false. This video is not from Kerala but from Hyderabad. At the same time, there is no communal angle in the matter seen in the video.
