On Saturday, India's squad won the ICC Under 19 Global Cup 2022 final in Antigua, extending its own world record. India won the Under 19 World Cup for the sixth time by defeating England by four wickets in the final match. India's team has already won five U19 World Cup titles, more than any other country.

India had improved its record of being in the final eight times out of fourteen ICC Under 19 World Cups, and by winning the final match, India made history.
