Google Kannada Controversy: There has been outrage among the government and people of Karnataka over the insult of the Kannada language by the Google search engine. In fact, on searching India's ugliest language on the search engine, the answer 'Kannada language' was being seen. After which the people of Karnataka objected to this and the state government asked to issue a legal notice to the search engine.

Google apologized while correcting it

Seeing the displeasure of the people, the engineers of Google apologized while correcting it. They said that Google's search results did not reflect their opinion. Karnataka Culture and Forest Minister Arvind Limbavali told reporters that a legal notice would be issued against him for showing such results on the search engine. After this, he expressed his displeasure through Twitter and appealed to Google to apologize.

The Kannada language exists 2500 years ago

The minister said that the Kannada language has its own history, which came into existence 2500 years ago. Through social media, he said that our language has been our pride for us Kannada people for ages. Showing Kannada's image wrong is an attempt by Google to insult Kannada people. He said that I appeal to Google to apologize on this subject as soon as possible. Legal action will be taken against Google for tarnishing the image of our beautiful language.

In response, Google said that the search results are not correct every time, sometimes the results appear on the Internet due to the interpretation of the content. Apologizing, Google said that we apologize for the misunderstanding, our intention was not to hurt anyone's sentiments. He said that we know that it is not ideal but whenever we are made aware of any subject, we work on it rapidly. We are working day and night on our algorithms to make our search engine even better.

HD Kumaraswamy condemned Google

On this subject, former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy condemned Google, tweeting one after the other, asking questions to Google as to why Google's attitude towards the language is irresponsible. On the other hand, BJP's PC Mohan also criticized Google, describing the Kannada language as having a rich heritage, glorious history, and unique culture.
