These three laws were passed by the central government last year, which faced unprecedented opposition from opposition parties to farmers’ organisations. For the return of these laws, farmers’ organizations have been sitting around the borders of Delhi for the last year. After continuous protests, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the withdrawal of these laws on 19 November.

The government will introduce 25 more bills in this session

Apart from the agricultural law withdrawal bill, the central government is preparing to introduce 25 other bills during the winter parliamentary session, which will continue till December 23, in which the most important bill is related to banning private cryptocurrencies. However, the government itself is allowing the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to introduce digital currency.

Apart from this, the report of the Joint Committee of Parliament on Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 will also be tabled in the House during the winter session.
