Actually, Manmohan Singh is undergoing medical treatment at AIIMS, Delhi. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had reached the hospital to inquire about his condition. Mandaviya shared pictures of this meeting on social media. At the same time, some videos were shown on news channels. However, in those videos, Manmohan Singh is seen lying on the bed. And at the same time, his wife Gursharan Kaur is standing beside him.

Daman said – My mother had refused to take photos

Daman said, "My father is undergoing treatment for dengue at AIIMS. His condition is stable, but his immunity is low. We refused to meet our relatives because of the risk of infection. we are glad that the Health minister came to meet my father. However, my parents were not in a position to be photographed or meet anyone at that time. My mother insisted that the photographer should leave the room, but they were completely ignored. She was very upset about it. "

Doctors said – Ethics to maintain the privacy of patients

On this matter, the doctors said that maintaining the privacy of patients is morality. And this is being taught during medical education. It is the responsibility of doctors and hospitals to protect the confidentiality of the patient. The Forum for Medical Ethics Society (FMES) member said it was a violation of ethics if the former prime minister's photograph was taken without the consent of his family.

Mandaviya deleted the pictures

People gave a strong reaction to the pictures shared by the Union Minister. Users tweeted and said that this was done to get media headlines. This is condemnable. Seeing such outrage, Mandaviya deleted the pictures. It is not yet clear how the doctors and AIIMS management allowed the photographer to come inside. What is even more shocking is that Guleria, the Director of AIIMS, was himself present there.

Manmohan Singh was infected with Corona this year

Manmohan Singh is currently a Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan. He was the Prime Minister of the country from 2004 to 2014. Manmohan Singh also got infected with the coronavirus on 19 April this year. He was admitted to AIIMS. He was discharged from the hospital after 10 days. Manmohan Singh is also suffering from Diabetes. He has also had two bypass surgeries. The first surgery was done in the UK in 1990, while his second bypass surgery was done at AIIMS in 2009. Last year, Manmohan Singh was admitted to AIIMS even after a drug reaction and fever.
