The Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation has said that the death toll in the Chembur accident has risen to 17. Two injured have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. At the same time, DCP (Zone 7) Prashant Kadam said that 5 bodies have been recovered from the debris of the collapsed building in Vikhroli. 5-6 more people are feared trapped.

The ambulance was parked just outside the settlement. Relief and rescue work is going on right now. The help of local people is also being taken in this. An eyewitness said that the accident happened on Saturday night at 12:30. Children were also buried in the rubble. We pulled out several people from the rubble and took the injured to the hospital by rickshaw.

At the same time, there was waterlogging at King Circle as well. Hanuman Nagar of Kandivali East is in bad condition due to heavy rains. Here the rainwater has reached the kitchens of the people. It has become difficult to live on the ground floor.
