A heart-wrenching incident has happened in the Aurangabad district of Bihar. The dead body was thrown after killing the girl in a village under the Fasar police station area of the district. People became agitated after the body was recovered on Friday evening.
On Saturday morning, relatives and villagers demonstrated at the Sadar Hospital gate. Demanded the early arrest of the killers. The villagers alleged that the 25-year-old girl was gang-raped and murdered. The body was thrown into the bushes to hide the evidence.
SDPO Gautam Sharan Omi, who reached the Sadar Hospital on the information of the uproar, pacified the people after persuading them. He said that the incident is being investigated in a scientific manner. Whoever is guilty will be arrested and punished. The manner of murder will be known from the post-mortem report. At present, the police are not confirming the rape.
The deceased used to work as Jeevika Mitra. Relatives told that on November 18, she went to Rafiganj market with her sister-in-law and sister-in-law on a train from Baghoi station. While returning from the market, her sister-in-law left at Rafiganj station. Then she got down at Jakhim station of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay-Gaya railway line with her goat.
At Jakhim station, she left Gotni and said that she is going to bring her sister-in-law. After this, she was going to Rafiganj by Dhanbad Intercity train. There were some crazy passengers on the train. Seeing the girl alone, they stopped the train by vacuuming between Jakhim and Dev Road station. Thereafter, the girl was forcibly taken away. From here she was raped. After this, rapists killed her with the aim of hiding the evidence.
The relatives got worried when the girl did not come home. Information related to the disappearance of the woman was given to the Phesar police station. Meanwhile, her body was recovered fromRafiganj station area on Friday evening.
The postmortem could not be done because of the night fog. On Saturday morning, the police reached Sadar Hospital to conduct the post-mortem of the dead body.
