Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has honored 8 dignitaries who chose the path of Mahatma Gandhi in Chhattisgarh under the program "Dhodge Gandhi". The Chief Minister said, "We have to find Gandhi in ourselves. With this the character of the entire society can be changed in the right direction."

Those who were honored in the program "Find Gandhi" included Padmashree Dharampal Saini, Dr. Beatrice, doctor of Public Health Cooperation Center operated in Ganiyari-Bilaspur, Gandhian thinker M.K.Naidu from Bastar, Shail Chauhan of Bemetara's caste. Retired teacher and folk story writer Murharam Kamalvanshi, resident of Kandel of Dhamtari, Dr. Asha Sharma, retired teacher and folk story writer of Ambikapur, Lata Netam of Gariaband, and craftsman Bhupesh Tiwari of Kondagaon have also been honored.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said Gandhiji is relevant even today. Even in the present times, it is necessary for all of us to imbibe his ideas for the new construction of the country and the world. He said that the Gandhian thoughts that are inside all of us need to be awakened. However, the Chief Minister said Mahatma Gandhi did the work of connecting the society and honoring the labor. So after returning from South Africa, Mahatma Gandhi toured the whole country. After discussing with different societies said that the soul of India resides in the village.
Gandhiji spoke of truth, non-violence, peace, love, and brotherhood, and living his life on the basis of these values, gave the message of mutual harmony to the people. So Chhattisgarh's government is running according to the ideals and ideas of Gandhi. However, on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Chhattisgarh government took a pledge to start Suraji Gaon Yojana.
Started campaign to remove malnutrition, illiteracy, and unemployment. First waived the loans of farmers as per its promise by the government to respect the labour as per the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi. So an important decision has been taken to give 6 thousand rupees annually to the landless agricultural laborers.
Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar said, However, 80 to 90 percent of the government's schemes in Chhattisgarh are based on the principle of "Sarvodaya" laid down by Mahatma Gandhi. In this, the interest of the poor, backward, and last person of the society has been kept in mind. So he said that the upliftment of villages, the poor, and farmers have been given priority in Chhattisgarh.
