Even after the Prime Minister's announcement to withdraw the disputed agricultural laws, the farmers' movement does not seem to end. The farmers do not have faith in the words of the Prime Minister. They are waiting for the completion of the process of abolishing this law in Parliament. Meanwhile, preparations are on for a tractor rally on 26 November. Such a rally is to be taken out in the capital Raipur also
Chhattisgarh Kisan Mazdoor Federation had submitted a letter to the Raipur administration last week seeking permission for the tractor rally. The farmers want to hold this rally even after the announcement of withdrawal of the three controversial laws. Convenor Mandal member of the federation and state secretary of All India Krantikari Kisan Sabha Tejram Vidrohi said, his organization welcomes the Prime Minister's announcement, but it is incomplete.
The agitation is not end till the three laws are withdrawn in Parliament. In such a situation, preparations are going on for the tractor rally of 26 November. Soon an agreement will be made with the administration regarding its path. The United Kisan Morcha had started the anti-agriculture law movement on 26 November 2020. On the completion of one year of this, farmer organizations had announced to take out tractor rally till Parliament.
Farmer leaders say, now the government has accepted the demand to withdraw agricultural laws. This saved the farmers from loss. To save agriculture, it is necessary to fix the minimum support price on all crops. The government will have to make a law that anywhere the farmer's crop will not be bought at a price less than the support price. This has been a major demand in the movement
After the announcement of the Prime Minister, the direction of the farmers' movement rests on the leaders of the United Kisan Morcha sitting on the borders of Delhi. The crucial meeting of the Morcha was to be held on Saturday, but it has been postponed. The future course of action will be decided in this meeting itself. For now, the preparations are going on.
