The results of the cleanliness survey will be declared on Saturday. The program will be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Indore will be declared the cleanest city in the country for the fifth time in a row. Indore will get the number one award in cleanliness.
Also, for the first time, the Safai Mitra Challenge Award was announced by the Central Government, which too will go to Indore's account. Indore will get a total of three awards including a five-star category award.
Till now, Indore has been the cleanest city in the country for four consecutive times. Indore has got the number one award in cleanliness all four times. Behind this is the hard work of day and night of Indore Municipal Corporation and Safai Mitras.
The awards will be announced on November 20. According to information received from sources, this time three awards will come in Indore's bag. Not only will they get the number one award in cleanliness, along with the Safai Mitra Challenge award and five-star category award.
A Seven-star ranking is given by the government every year. This time five stars will be given. Under the Safai Mitra Challenge Award, an amount of Rs 12 crore will be given. Ministers, MLAs, Divisional Commissioners, Collectors and Municipal Commissioners will leave for Delhi on Friday night to receive the award.
The results declared under the Swachh Bharat Mission will be broadcast live on Saturday. For this, special arrangements have been made in Indore. Indore residents can look at different places. The live broadcast can be seen at Khajrana Ganesh Mandir, Ranjit Hanuman Mandir, Rajbara, Palasia Selfie Point, Meghdoot Upvan, Near Rajendra Nagar Railway Station, Indore Municipal Corporation, Musakhedi Square, Marimata Square, Kalani Nagar. Timings will be from 11 am to 1.30 pm.
