The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)Roorkee will release Answers key, which has organized the exam this time. According to the schedule, JEE Advanced Answer key will be available on the official website jeeadv.ac.in after the 10 AM Today.
Students have been given time to file objections till 5 pm on 5th June. If they have any objection to the answer, they can file their objection by 5 pm on 5th June. When all students file their objection, a panel will discuss those objections and make a final decision. After that, a final Answer key will be released. The result will be declared on the basis of the final answer key only. The JEE Advanced result will be released on June 14, 2019.
This year 1.73 lakh students had registered for the examination. In 2018, a total of 1,65,656 students applied for the IIT Entrance Examination. 31,988 students qualified from all of them. It was much lower than the result of 2017. In 2017 1.71 lakh students had registered, out of which 51,000 cleared the entrance examination. In 2016, the number of students was 1.56 lakh, out of which 36,500 students qualified.
To pass in JEE Advanced, it is necessary to have at least 10 percent in every paper and at least get 30 percent of the total score in all three papers. It is expected that cutoff for JEE Advanced 2019 can be less than 30 percent.
