A meeting of the United Kisan Morcha will be held on the Singhu border on Tuesday. In the meeting, there will be a discussion on the efforts made to intensify the ongoing farmers' movement on the Singhu and Tikri borders of Haryana against agricultural laws and to open the way in the past. All the farmer leaders of the Morcha will be present at the meeting. On November 26, the farmers' movement is completing one year. Before this, the strategy to intensify the movement is to be discussed. Proposals have also been prepared by the farmers' organizations of Haryana. The farmers here are pressurizing to take effective decisions.

Delhi Police removed the barricading

The farmers' movement started last year to protest against the agricultural laws, but the police stopped farmers from Punjab and Haryana at Singhu and Tikri borders before they could go to Delhi. That's why the farmers camped on the border itself. Recently, Delhi Police removed the barricading done at Tikri and Ghazipur border to open the way to the border. The road up to 5 feet on the Tikri border has been opened for pedestrians and ambulances, but at present, the Ghazipur and Singhu borders are closed as before.

There is pressure on the United Kisan Morcha to take effective decisions in the meeting. The organizations of Haryana have talked about being ready for the Delhi march, but after the violence in Delhi during the tractor parade on 26 January this year, the United Front is taking a lot of caution about such activities.

Things will now be discussed in the meeting

Recently, when the Parliament session was held in Delhi, a limited number of agitators had also reached outside it for demonstration. All these things will now be discussed in the meeting. Along with this, the activities related to opening the way on the border in the past will also be discussed.

Churning even on opening the way

A few days ago, the Delhi Police took the initiative to open the Tikri and Ghazipur borders, which were closed for more than 11 months. A five-foot road has also been opened on the Tikri border, but farmers will take a decision on opening more than this only after the meeting of the United Kisan Morcha. Anyway, the farmers have already been saying that the road was not closed from their side, but from the Delhi Police side. Due to this, farmers' tents have been set up far along the border. If the road is suddenly opened now, then any accident can happen. A hearing is also to be held in the Supreme Court on November 15 to open the way. In this, the answer has to be kept from the government. The court will hear all the parties on the petition filed by the entrepreneurs.

If anyone has suffered the most due to the start of the farmers' movement, then he is an industrialist. There are hundreds of companies around the Singhu and Tikri borders. Many companies have been closed due to the closure of the border for 11 months. Many people have lost their jobs. Entrepreneurs have also put up a petition to open the border. The same thing has been kept in this that the Delhi Police has closed the roads, but now the situation is opposite. Recently, when the Delhi Police tried to open the way, the agitators put forward their problem. The road has been left only for two-wheelers and pedestrians. Now it remains to be seen what is the stand of the court on this.
