Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will organize the 'City Walk Festival' from 11 October to 10 November in 11 cities of the state for local, national and international tourists of all ages. Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Faiz Ahmed Kidwai informed about this on Thursday. He said that the festival will have more than 100 city walks on the subjects of Art, Culture, History, Heritage, Food, Textiles, Photography, and Spirituality.
Kidwai said that a local 'walk leader' has been appointed for each walk. He has urged the tourists to participate in the festival in large numbers and get familiar with the heritage of the state. He said that City Walk Festivals will be held in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Panna, Vidisha, Khajuraho, Chanderi, Jabalpur, Burhanpur and Orchha.
In this, tourists will be introduced to the rich heritage of tourism sites, natural beauty, rich history, traditions and historical heritage. Kidwai said that a date-wise calendar is being issued for the festival. To get involved in this, tourists can register online on the website of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board.
