Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti warned on 35 A He has said that tinkering with Article 35A is equal to putting gunpowder hand. The hands which will rise up to wrestle with the 35 A, will not be the hand, but the whole jism burning will become ashes. He was addressing the program in Srinagar on 20th Foundation Day of PDP on Sunday.

On Saturday, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had questioned the central government's decision to deploy an additional 10 thousand soldiers in the Valley. Mufti said that this judgment of the Narendra Modi government of the Center has created an atmosphere of fear in the people of the valley.
In fact, on July 25, the Home Ministry issued an order for the deployment of 10 thousand additional soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir besides the Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF, BSF, SSB, and ITBP). Its purpose is to strengthen the anti-terrorism (CI) grid so that law and order can be maintained. Before Independence Day, the government has taken this decision to further strengthen the security band in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti had said during the Lok Sabha election that if any change was made in Article 35-A, the people of the state can hold any other flag rather than the national flag of the tricolor.

1- Article 35-A is the article of the Constitution which provides for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly to make it known to the permanent residents in the state.
In 2-year 1954, on May 14, President Dr. Rajendra Prasad passed an order. Through this order, a new Article 35A was added to the Constitution. This right has been given under Article 370.
3- In 1956, the constitution of Jammu Kashmir constituted a permanent nationality.
4- According to the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, a permanent citizen is a person who has been a citizen of the state on May 14, 1954, or has been living in the state for 10 years before that, and he has got property there.
5- In 2014, an NGO filed an application seeking the termination of this article. The hearing of this case is still going on in the Supreme Court.
